A Miracle for Baby Lucas

Monday, August 1st, 2011

When you ask for a miracle from God, he will give it to you and this is exactly what happened in my family this past month. You see my aunt’s daughter had a baby boy at 35 weeks. They did a gestational age test on him and he was 29 weeks. They are pretty sure this was due to the mold that was found in the home they lived in.

My aunt’s grandson’s name is Lucas and he had problems with his intestines and his heart. A few days ago they did a surgery on his intestines and they are fixed and working properly now which is a miracle in and of itself, but what’s even better is the news about the heart.

He was born with three holes in his heart and when they checked it recently one of the holes fixed itself and is not there anymore. So now they have two holes to deal with and that surgery will be in approximately five months.

Lucas is doing well and is improving every day. That’s because of the wonderful work God is doing in him and in the family. He’s going to continue to get better and when he’s six months old he’ll have the heart surgery to repair the holes and he’ll be even better.

All of this is because of the miracles his family has asked for and they’ll continue to ask for those miracles as he grows and gets older. By the grace of God he will turn into a wonderful young man full of life and he’ll love everyone around him. Thanks to God he will be around for a long time.

Plan Ahead to make Monday’s Easier

Monday, October 4th, 2010

Miracle MondayMonday’s can be so difficult. You enjoy the weekends so much that it’s hard to get back in the swing of things again. If this has ever happened to you, you know what it’s like to have unproductive Monday’s. You may need a miracle to get any work done. If this happens to you, then you probably need all the help you can get on Monday morning.

I have been in this situation many times and I know others have too, so I want to make a suggestion that might help you when this type of thing happens.

The best thing you can do is plan your week ahead of time. When you know exactly what to do you won’t have to take the time to plan. Create a to-do list of everything you need to do and make sure you have a complete understanding of what you need to do so you don’t have to fret over anything. This will also help you so you don’t have to do any more then you have to.

If it’s possible, you should consider not setting any deadlines for Monday. This will help ease your mind and you won’t have anything to stress over that morning. If you do have Monday deadlines, consider planning your week so you can get them done on Friday before you start your weekend.

Monday’s are hard enough as it is, but you can make them easier when you plan your week on Friday before you end your day. You can also make them easier when you make out a to-do list and schedule the easiest things during the time you are not as productive. When you do this, you’ll find Monday’s are a little easier to deal with each week.

Blessings,
