First, glad you're back from migrane h**l! Well, Denise, I claimed that in 2010, I was gonna win! Well, when 2010 came in, I had one client and another one on the hook for my virtual assistant business. It's now February and both of those clients are in my past. Trust and believe that it wasn't me. It seems that most people who call themselves running businesses and needing someone to help them look more professional and polished aren't really business people at all. So I'm still on a quest to find reliable business minded people to work for. On a good note, I have secured a contract for a ghostwriting project and started online schooling to work on my Criminal Justice degree. I still intend to win in 2010!

Thank you so much for this opportunity. I am so honored and blessed to be a part of the team. I look forward to writing on a variety of subjects from being a mom, to being a business woman, to being a woman of faith. I am excited to hear from those of you who will read my articles, and learn what is important to you. My first article will be about our sense of worth as work at home moms. Thank you again for this opportunity to serve.

MariLee, a 2 1/2 year old is a MAJOR distraction! It's awesome that you've found a way to make it work.

Oh DeAnna, I can relate to that! My husband works during the day when I do most of my work. But when he takes a day off midweek, I know I won't get anything done that day. :-)

My biggest distraction actually comes from my husband, not my kids. The way I deal with it is to schedule the work that requires heavy concentration for when he's asleep or gone.
