I thought it would be a challenge to type on the on-screen keyboard because your fingers have to hover over the keys, but it was easier than I thought. After reading up on some quick keyboard tips, it was smooth typing from thereon. You can definitely write full articles, then send them to your email or put them on iCloud, and then make edits on your computer.
