Using Freebies to Increase your Business

Tuesday, April 5th, 2016

Free StuffWhen marketing your business it’s important to draw your customers to your site. While there are a number of ways to do this, one of the best and easiest ways is to use freebies. People love to get something for free. They will be more inclined to visit your site and refer others to you if you give them something in return.

There are several things you can offer for free that won’t take a lot of time to create. You’ll find the amount of time you spend on them will be priceless when you see the increase in visitors to your site and purchases they make.

Here are a few suggestions.

1. Special Report
2. Ebook
3. Adult Color Sheets
4. Ecourse
5. PLR Article Pack
6. Sample Product

There are many other things you could offer based on your business. If you offer advertising, you could include them in a directory, if you are product based you could give away samples, if you have a club you could give them free access. The list could be endless.

The most important thing is to think about your customers and what they’d like to see. When you give them something for free they’ll come back time and time again just to see what you offer and what new things you’ve added since they visited last.corrie new sig

Content Doesn’t Matter if You Don’t Want Traffic to Your Site

Saturday, March 19th, 2011

I’m afraid you’ve heard the truth too many times already. ”Content, content and more content” is what you need to get traffic to your site. But, of course, it’s not just any content. First of all, it has to be valuable content. Not just “yack-yack”. Who’s really going to come back for more of that? Secondly, the content should apply to whatever you sell or offer.

Here’s three quick tips on using content for your home business:

1. Use content to gain repeat visits to your site. Please don’t sink your head in the sand. It’s true. Find all the freebie places to advertise, but it will never be as valuable as spending your time researching and writing worthy content for your site. If you have a direct sales company website, then make it a priority to create your own website. Don’t wait! You’ll be missing out on an opportunity to brand yourself, collect leads, and add your own content to your site. Add “valuable” content that will get your visitors begging for more. Here are three ways that you can start:

*Include informational articles on your site. The main purpose of internet users is still to find useful information. You don’t have to be a professional writer. Simply do some research on your subject, place your information in a decent order and make it sound interesting by letting your personality shine through as if you were talking to your best friend. We usually offer our own friends valuable information with enthusaism and even have fun telling our view.

*A monthly newsletter is a great way to offer content. Be sure to include your newsletter sign up on each page. Entice them with all the goodies they will get or information they will learn from your newsletter. Tempt them even more by offering a free ebook, report or ecourse.

4 FREE Ways You Can Advertise and Market Your Business Online

Friday, January 21st, 2011

Laptop BlondIf you are trying to build a successful online business, you will need to do some online marketing and advertising. If you are just getting started and don’t have any money to invest in advertising, I would like to suggest some free ways you can advertise your business online.

1. Social Media: You will want to join a few social media networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. Fill out your profile page completely and include links to your business. Once you have set up your accounts, browse those networks to find like-minded professionals and follow their accounts. You will want to post about yourself, your company and newsworthy tips and ideas. Networking with others online is a great way to find new business associates and customers.

2. Create A Blog: One of the hottest ways to market your business online is to create a blog. You can create a free blog at blogger.com, wordpress.com or notepad.com. You will want to set up your blog and post on it consistently. You need to walk a fine line between publishing newsworthy blog content and spam content. You will want to give readers a reason to visit your blog besides constant advertisements. Give readers tips on how they can use the products that you sell.

3. Article Marketing: If you are decent at writing, spelling and grammar, you can try your hand at article marketing. You will want to write and publish informative articles directed towards your business niche and submit those written works to online article directory sites.

4. Barter For Advertising Space: If you have an abundance of left-over unused product inventory, you can contact niche related web site owners and see if they would be interested in bartering for some advertising space. You could give them some of your business products in exchange for banner or button ad space on their site.

As you can see…there are many ways you can market and advertise your business online that are free or very low cost. The most important thing to remember is this…customers don’t magically find you and your business online. You have to get your business out there and bring the customers to you.

Here’s the Traffic, Where are All the Sales?

Saturday, November 20th, 2010

moneyWe would all like to be able to brag a bit and declare ‘what a flood of traffic our site is receiving…tons by the hour, in fact!’ It seems we all get caught up in the numbers game. I, for one, like to take frequent peeks on how the statistics are holding up. Usually disappointment settles in if I didn’t get a big increase from the last time I looked. It’s true, traffic matters…or I would not be looking quite so often.

Most website owners have long known that traffic is important. Without it, we will not get any sales. It’s also a fact that without a fairly large amount of traffic, you’re not going to profit much either. Statistics show that you usually only convert a small amount of sales for a certain ratio of visitors that you receive. Nevertheless, you must also realize that it’s not just about “numbers”. It’s about “targeted” visitors and what you do with those visitors once you get them to your site.

Here’s 3 quick tips on optimizing the traffic you already receive at your site:

How Participating In Product Reviews Can Drive Traffic To Your Web Site

Sunday, October 17th, 2010

keyboard with -results- buttonAre you looking to get more traffic to your web site? If so, You should consider participating in an online product review. Sponsoring a review is a low cost way to drive traffic to your web site, expose others to your company name and the products that you are marketing.

When you sponsor a review, you need to choose the web site for your review very carefully. You want to make sure the site heavily promotes their reviews on a variety of other sites, including social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Ning. In addition, take the time to check out the site’s page ranking and site statistics…make sure the site has a high rate of traffic coming to it.

When a reviewer writes your company’s product review, they will offer an honest and unbiased opinion about your products or business services. Within this review, they will have links pointing to your site and products. Once this review is posted up on the web, the readers and visitors to that site will read their review and visit your site. This is a good way to get traffic coming into your web site. As a bonus, you get quality incoming links to your site which helps with search engine ranking.

Optimizing Your Website to Increase Search Engine Traffic

Saturday, September 25th, 2010

arrowSEO has been around a long time, but longstanding is ringing spot on! So many people will throw money at Google Adwords, which isn’t a bad idea, and if you are very familiar with how the system works, but SEO really needs to be the main part of your recipe to increase traffic through search engines.

To make a website function at its best and most effective use is to utilize search engine marketing. This includes keyword density, which involves research for the best words and phrases to use. Essentially you need to find out what your prospects are searching for, exactly!

Another strategy to consider it Meta tags.

What are Meta tags? Well they are tags part of the HTML coding that describes various aspects of your website or page. These are words that express what your page is about, that can be placed in your header. Search engine spiders typically scan and assess these words for site content relevance. The more relevant the words are the more your site is crawled by Google, Yahoo, MSN and most major search engines. In short, it just helps search engines locate your page.

The Free Book You Need to Write

Friday, July 4th, 2008

It’s Free Book Friday, but this week, instead of telling you about another free book you should read, I want to tell you about the free book you need to WRITE!

When I talk to online business owners about their traffic and sales, a lot of them seem to think a new visitor will become a customer the first time they click through to the sales page,. But – unfortunately for them – that’s usually not the case. More often, a new visitor will need to visit you or hear from you several times before they’re ready to make that first purchase.

One way to help build that relationship, and keep that new visitor coming back, is by offering a first-timer a free ebook or report in exchange for their email address.

While most first-time visitors won‚Äôt buy from you immediately, there’s a good chance they will leave you their email address in exchange for a report or ebook. Then you can follow up with them and let them know about your products and services, and new additions to your site.

For this strategy to work well, it’s vital that you understand what is valuable to your target market. Do your research and offer a freebie they can’t refuse.

If you don’t like to write, or dont have the time to create a free product to give away, consider outsourcing your content to a ghostwriter. WAHM Articles offers a writing service that creates WAHM ebooks and content for you Рfrom start to finish.
