Tuesday’s Thoughts: Negative Social Networking Posts
Today is Tuesday’s Thoughts and the thing that keeps coming to my mind is social networking. Social networking is one of the best ways to grow your business. It gives you the ability build trust with your market. You do this through the posts you make. I’ve been using social networking for a long time now and one thing that frustrates me the most is negative posts.
Your posts can be your blog, articles you’ve written, and personal posts you make. One thing you need to do is be careful about the things you post. You don’t want to do a lot of complaining, bad mouthing others, or negative posts. People don’t want to listen to your dirty laundry and they don’t really care to hear how you feel about the things others do that irritate you.
When you continually make these types of posts you’ll lose followers and trust with others. It won’t take long before they get tired of reading your posts and stop following you because of them. It’s not worth it when you’re trying to grow a business so the best thing to do is to always stay positive and post things your followers want to read.

Corrie,
I couldn’t agree more. If you’re branding and building your business, a person needs to use tact and common sense. What’s also unprofessional is when people criticize others harshly and talk bad about them on Twitter and then turn around and pretend to be nice to them. Hypocrites are my other pet peeves.
The way I see it is if you can’t be nice, don’t say it. I think all things negative can be turned into positives.
Great post Corrie!
