Tell Me Thursday

The Wordless Wednesday post I shared yesterday is the personal blog of Caryn Schulenberg. If you missed the picture, click here to view it.

Caryn became interested in geneology when her uncle started sending old pictures of the family in his letters to her. She stored them in a box to keep them all together.  She recently came across that box of old pictures and she has decided to use her blog to keep record of stories of her families past as well as current stories, such as that of her grandchildren.

I personally think this is a neat way to share your family history with them. We live in a world filled with technology and blogs are a great way to get the younger generations to become interested in this history. The pictures that Caryn shares makes the stories come to life and make it very interesting to read! Caryn spends a lot of time with her mother and her in-laws. She has dedicated much of her day to caring for them and in that time, she is able to hear from them their life stories.  Many of us find that when we lose a family member, their stories go with them. Caryn’s blog will ensure that future generations know where they came from and what values their families had!

Caryn is also an insurance agent and runs a successful home based Avon business on the side. If you are interested in purchasing Avon products from Caryn, click here.
