Facebook vs Twitter – Which one do you Prefer?
No matter what type of business you run, growing is what you set out to do. Nobody in their right mind would start a business and not have the goal of growing and reaching success. While there are a number of ways to do this, one way stands out above the rest and that’s social networking.
Social networking is one of the easiest ways to grow your business. There are rules you need to follow, but it doesn’t take a lot of training and it doesn’t take a lot of time to develop the knowledge.
The two biggest networking sites right now would be Facebook and Twitter. They are the largest and the ones business owners want to use. They also happen to be the easiest to use.
Each site has it’s own advantages and disadvantages, but in a nutshell they will help you grow your business if used correctly. Ultimately you have to be the one to decide which site you need to use for your business. One may work better than the other for some businesses while the opposite it true for other businesses.
For what I do to grow my business, I prefer Twitter. Which one do you prefer? Leave a comment and let us know.

As you said each has advantages and disadvantages, but I view both sites as a means to get to know one another. Twitter, is shorten communication, less fluff, but more effective. Facebook, is a bit more social and interactive. Both have their place in the world of networking. Unfortunately there are those who view making friends, as a list builder of potential clients. Get to know me first, before attempting to market a product. If I become a buyer of anything, its because I’ve gotten to know the person or company and have some confidence in them. Make me like you first, then maybe I’ll become a potential client.

I use both Facebook and Twitter to promote and inform my audience. You can set up your blog to post automatically to both which is a great time saving idea as well. There are so many valuable plugins that work for this purpose.
Thanks,
SUSAN

I think that both have their pro’s and con’s. I to use the both of them, but I tend to use facebook a lot more. Susan is right that there are some tools out there that will post automatically post to both when you write. It helps when you want to tell all your friends about something rather than writing it a thousand times, especially when you type with one finger like I do. Thank god for spell-check! LOL
