Win Free Button Ad Space This Summer
This week’s prize is a 125×125 button ad space from Work at Home Jobs.
If you’re looking for a great place to advertise to the work at home industry, or just for some more information on making money from home, I highly recommend visiting the Work at Home Jobs
While I love article marketing and use it as my primary source of gaining leads and traffic, I’ve learned not to ignore the importance of paid advertising.
Button advertising is an important part of building your brand.
When you’re looking for paid advertising though, you want to think about more than price. I know I get pretty excited when I see great advertising deals on my favorite websites.
But before you decide to jump in, do a little digging. Here are some things you should know before paying to advertise on any site:
1. Who uses the site? Is it a group that will be interested in what you sell?
2. Where does the traffic come from? If your target market resides in the US, you’ll want to be sure visitors are coming from that geographic area.
3. How much of the traffic is repeat visitors? While new hits are nice, sometimes what’s even more telling about a site’s success is how frequently those visitors come back.
4. How long is an average visit to the site? Do visitors stay long enough to even see your ad?
Some website owners will publish this information along with their advertising rates, or you can simply request the information. If what they tell you doesn’t sound quite right, another place you can find information on a site is by visiting Alexa and looking up information on the site you’re considering placing your ad.
You should keep in mind that Alexa isn’t 100% reliable either, since it only tracks visitors who have the Alexa toolbar installed and I’ve been told it can have a lag time of a few months.
But if you’re entered to win this week’s prize of button ad space from Work at Home Jobs you might not have to worry about buying advertising this summer!
You can enter over on the right hand side. If you’ve entered previously and haven’t won yet, you’re still eligible for this week’s great prize.
