“I Have No Experience In Anything!”
Do you really have no experience in any thing?
In a short amount of time, I don’t know how many times I’ve read this statement over and over and over from people wanting to work at home. It’s disheartening to have to answer to a plea for help when you really can’t lead them to a paying job or opportunity.
First, you do know your way around a computer and secondly, you know you can find things because you found this forum and you created a thread.
Next, you have options. You can choose to take a course online in a particular subject or choose to brush up on your skills such as your typing speed, learn Word or Excel. You can find a tutorial online or you can go to your local library and borrow a DVD.
Or, you can become a better writer by starting a blog and when you start one thing it usually leads to another. Blogging is a creative outlet and it is less informal than writing articles. While you don’t have to be a professional writer, you still have to use proper grammar and spelling. Everyone can compose a complete sentence. If you can captivate your audience and provide helpful content then you have done your job as a writer. Like I said one thing leads to another…you can submit your articles, blog for a company, become a freelance writer or ghostwriter etc. all for pay.
Or, you can continue with your blog and join some affiliate programs and promote them on your blog, offer ad space and monetize it in other ways.
There will always be a learning curve in whatever you decide to do. It’s part of your learning progress and it’s something you will eventually learn how to do well. You won’t have to say, “I have no experience in anything” anymore!
