Write Where It Hurts – Mentoring Monday Courtesy of My Biggest Fan
This week’s “Mentoring Monday” idea comes from my hubby, who inspires and encourages me in more ways than I can list.
This past week has been a stressful one for my family. You can read about it in my CWAHM blog (where CWHAM Jill Hart very graciously lets me blog.)
Anyways, DH and I frequently talk about working together someday, and with these crazy goings-on, we thought now might be a good time to seriously consider how that could work. In the next few weeks, DH will be joining me at the Virtual Assistant Resources blog.
I asked him what, exactly, he’ll be writing about. To tell you the truth, I expected him to just start writing, and not give it much thought.
“I have to do some research first,” he explained. “Before I write, I need to find out what your readers’ pain is.”
“Their, uh, pain?” I wonder if he’s been having a pain I should know about….
“Well, yeah. If I want them to read my articles, I have to give them information that will solve their problems. You know – their pain.”
Now I’m feeling like the idiot.
That man will make a great article marketer one day.
