Use proper capitalization in your titles.

A good article writer spends a lot of time thinking up just the right title to show her newest article in its best light. The title is the first thing your readers will see, and a deciding factor for article publishers.

Don’t blow that first impression by not capitalizing your title properly. In fact, some article directories won’t accept your article if you didn’t capitalize it properly. And if they do publish it, readers and ezine publishers will be turned off by your error.

Here are the basic capitalization rules for your article titles:

1. All important words in your title should be capitalized.

2. Articles (words like the, an, a) are not capitalized, unless they’re the first word in your title.

3. Conjunctions (words like and, but, or, etc.) are not capitalized.

Properly capitalizing your title will make your article look better, and make you look a lot smarter.
