Why Info Product Creation is Worth Your Time

When I first ventured into the world of online business, almost three years ago now, I wondered as most of you probably have, “How can I make money online?” With a background in ministry, a short stint in direct sales, and a burning desire to create something that was “mine,” I would have done anything that was legal. I actually tried quite a number of things. I stumbled across various money making options or ideas, service based businesses, which I have and do well with, affiliate marketing, and finally information products. 

Info product creation is actually quite simple. Basically you are sharing your own knowledge and expertise with others.

This is a good option for just about anyone, but especially for professionals, coaches, authors, and speakers, because you already have so much “material” that you have studied, prepared, and shared in one way or another. It is a no brainer to repurpose and use that information to help you make an additional income stream via information products.

Because of their simplicity, information products do not take a great deal of time to produce, which is another plus for those of us who are busy online business owners.

Finally, information products sell. As a consumer of information products, as well as a creator, I know that they “sell.” I would likely be a bit embarrassed if I investigated the number of information products that are on my computer’s hard drive that I have purchased over the years, even worse, those I’ve never even actually gotten around to reading.

Take the knowledge and likely the material that you already have and package it to sell!
