How can a Virtual Assistant help me with Blog Management?

By: Corrie Petersen

How can a Virtual Assistant help me with blog management is a question I receive from both clients and potential clients. Most times there are two reasons that bring this question up. One reason is not knowing how to get started and the other is the lack of time to make the posts.

Here is some information that will help you to have a better understanding of the ways a VA can help you with your blog.

1. New blog

One of the hardest things for a person to do when they first start a blog is to know how to work them and what to post. Some people may have such a hard time with this task that they give up shortly after getting started. That’s why it’s such a good idea to hire a VA to help you manage your blog.

Your VA will help you create a plan for your blog, come up with topics for you to write about, schedule posts for you, and even write them for you. If you don’t have a blog set up, your VA can help you create one from the very beginning. Whatever you need her to do with regards to your blog will help you make your blog a success.

2. Existing blog

If you have an existing blog, but need help with it, it’s possible for your VA to help you. The information in the new blog section above will work for an existing blog as well. It’s also a good idea to submit your blog to blog directories and this is another task your VA can help you with.

Guest blogging is another idea to help you get through the posts each week. Your VA can schedule these for you, keep track of the posts as they come in, and post them to your blog once you read through them and approve them. When you’re busy doing other business related tasks, keeping up with guest blog posts can be a challenge, so that’s why it’s a good idea to have your VA handle it for you.

If you want to write guest blog posts for others, your VA can help you make this a success. She can find blogs for you to write on, she can write the posts for you or she can send you reminders about posts you need to make and make sure they’re turned in to the appropriate person in time. She can also post them if you’re giving the ability to do this if you’re allowed to do that on your own.

A blog is important for any type of business, but it can become a challenge at times. When this happens, it’s a good idea to hire a Virtual Assistant to help you with blog management. There are so many different ways she can help you with your blog and the tasks listed above are just a few of the tasks for your to consider handing off to help.
