If you're building a second income stream with a part time home business, the bigger your opt in list the better chance you have to scoring. Your list is the most valuable thing you have in your home based business. You may have heard that "the fortune is in the list", it's absolutely true.

How are you building your list? Early in your networking career your list will consist of family, friends, neighbors, etc…keep that list handy for later. Right now we want to discuss creating a massive opt in list for your business. Here's some tips that will help you build the biggest list possible in just 30 days.

Have a simple Opt-in page!

We've all seen these gigantic sales pages and then have an opt in form at the very bottom. Good grief, seriously who really reads all that crap with the vague testimonies? If you want to build a big list as fast as possible you need a simple opt in page with just enough information to pique the interest of your visitor..

I've found the best opt in page is one where you don't have to scroll to get the gist of it allowing your visitor to make a quick decision and fill in the form. Sure some people will put in bogus info just to get past that page to the next page and more info but that's okay.

Most of the time a video, catchy audio and an eye catching headline is all you really need to get people to opt into your list. Avoid the temptation to over complicate it and NEVER give too much information. Once your visitor becomes a prospect for your home based business then and only then do you share more info with them.

Resist sending too many emails to your list!

As you are building this opt in lead list you want your prospects to remain in the list for as long as possible or until they join your winning team. The quickest way to destroy a list is sending too many emails. Let's face it, that's just annoying. I think one or two emails a week is sufficient.

Have some sort of Freebie!

Everyone loves getting stuff for free. If you want to build a huge opt in list fast, have a freebie to offer. It might be a free ebook, report, sample product and this will do wonders for your opt in list.

Make sure you have quality content!

Don't think just because you offer something for free that it doesn't have to be good. Provide quality content to your prospect otherwise they will lose respect for you and once you've lost that you've also lost any chance of recruiting them into your home based business. Also, bad news travels fast and your prospect might tell others and that can be devastating to any business.

You might have heard this before: 'If someone finds something they like they MIGHT tell one person, but if they find something they don't like they'll tell one hundred people. It's just bad for business to give away poor quality products!

Now that you got it…Flaunt it!

What I really mean is get it out there…Promote it like crazy! There are literally hundreds of places to promote your webpage for free. If you truly understand and believe that opt ins today equals sign ups tomorrow… You're list is golden & the bigger the better!

So size really does matter! As long as you're working a legitimate home based business, build your list now and your success in the future is guaranteed.
