If you are in Direct Sales, you have probably noticed how popular theme' d home parties have become. We have all been to those parties where a consultant just stands up there and shows you her business products. These days, those type of parties are becoming less appealing. Party Hosts now want an interactive and fun theme' d party. I have compiled a list of 6 theme' d parties for you to consider that are seasonal in nature. 1. Secret Santa Office Party. Contact local businesses to see if you can present a Secret Santa Party at their offices. This is best done during the lunch hour or immediately after the employee's get off work. Set up a table with little items that cost $20 or less. Have employee's come in to shop for their Secret Santa partner. This type of party is done with Cash 'N Carry merchandise. 2. Holiday Open House. You should hold 1 Holiday Open House at your own home every holiday season. Invite every one that you know, to come and shop, for their holiday gifts. 3. Kid's Only Holiday Shopping Party. Print up flyers and hand them out to parents. Invite the children over to shop for gifts, for their parents and family members. Children love shopping on their own for holiday gifts. Make sure you have have plenty of helpers on hand to assist you, and the children. On my flyers and invitations, it requests that parents send each child with $15 or more. As a bonus, you can set up a table with construction paper and some art supplies. Let the children craft their own holiday cards. 4. Cookie Exchange Party Have guests bring 2 dozen of freshly baked cookies to the party. After you demonstrate your products, have guests exchange cookies. This is a great way for guests to get holiday cookies, while you'll benefit with a party booking and sales. 5. Local Holiday Bazaars and Fairs Call up your local community centers, business centers, churches and holiday event planners, to find out about the upcoming holiday season events. You can set up a booth to take orders, or set up some cash and carry products. 6. Assisted Living Centers for Seniors These are very different than nursing homes. Contact the center's human resources office, to see if you can come in and do a party for the Seniors and Staff Members. When the Holiday Season arrives, try to incorporate some fun holiday themes into your party line-up.
