Can You Get Rich Taking Surveys?

Let me be the first to tell you that NO, in my opinion you cannot get rich simply taking surveys. You would have to be one fast read, speed-typing person to make this happen.

We see ads all over the Internet suggesting that you can make huge amounts of money taking online surveys. Here are the reasons why I believe you will not be retiring from your day job by solely taking online surveys.

* Most survey companies want to pay you by entering you into a sweepstakes rather than pay you in real cash.
* In most cases if you earn money the survey companies are such that you would have to spend most of your time daily taking surveys.
* Because of the payouts and selection process of the survey companies most people end up quitting before they achieve any kind of success.
* Most people join the first company they see promising the world and think solely about the money they might earn and not about the fact they will have to take a lot of surveys to earn that money.

This is just my honest opinion that I have formed from running an online Work at Home Directory website for a few years. For most people there are better choices online that will enable you to make more money with a better chance for success.

You may be wondering why the Online Paid Surveys have lasted so long if they do not work? I did not say you could not earn money; I said you more than likely would not be retiring from you day job.

I think you can be successful and earn some extra income if the following applies to you...

* You are simply looking to create some extra money each month to supplement your regular income.
* You feel comfortable answering surveys using e-mail and enjoy expressing your opinion about products and services you already use.
* You have a limited amount of time each day and simply would like to make your time more productive than it is currently.
* You are willing to pay what I call a Paid Online Survey Directory that will give you an organized approach to becoming successful at earning money taking online surveys. A good survey directory company, in my opinion, will help remove scam artists, bad companies and show you which survey companies to sign up for so you can earn money rather than simply being paid by entries into sweepstakes. You should be the one that gets to choose how you get paid.
* You have the self-discipline to ensure that you will put forth the effort necessary to succeed.

What kind of money can you make if you use a Paid Survey Directory? I think it's possible to make up to $500 - $1000 a month if you follow their directions, join a lot of survey companies and work hard.

In closing if you are looking to create some extra income, you have some extra time, you like expressing your opinion and your expectations are not to high income wise than this can work for you.
