Companies large and small need to get their brand name and product information out there and one way to do that is by participating in online product reviews. When a company participates in a product review online they benefit in more ways than one.

Let's take a look at why your company should be participating in an online review.

1. When you participate in an online product review you are exposing your company name, company contact information and company products to an audience who might not be aware that your company even exists.

2. A professionally written product review will be properly keyword linked to your online web site giving you some great one-way incoming links to your site which helps improve your search engine ranking.

3. Your company will get a lot of exposure in online social media networks such as Facebook, Ning, LinkedIn and Twitter. All companies are branding themselves on social media networks and a good product reviewer will advertise their written reviews on various social media outlets.

4. These days a lot of savvy shoppers will get online and do a keyword search for XYZ (company name or product name) and actively seek out a written customer review for a product. Customers want to read what other's think of a product before they buy it.
