How to Monetize Your Article Writing
There’s a Canadian TV reality TV series called Dragon’s Den where entrepreneurs pitch 5 multimillionaires for the startup capital they need. My hubby’s been watching it. He finds it pretty entertaining, and likes to tell me about it.
Apparently, in the last episode, one entrepreneur was doing pretty well until the panel asked him how he planned to monetize his idea. He hadn’t thought of that.
So much for that great idea!
But I think we entrepreneurs often aren’t clear on how to monetize our great ideas. For example, how do you monetize article writing?
Yeah, I know you’re getting traffic to your website and subscribers to your list. That’s awesome! But, could you be doing more? Like…
- Writing review articles of affiliate products and creating a residual income
- Publishing articles on your own site with adsense ads
- Compiling your articles into an ebook and selling it.
