Writing Your 30 Second Intro – Free Book Friday

In my daughter’s Sunday School class last week, the teacher asked each student what their parents did for a living. I was curious how Cassidy had described the work I do.

“I told him you’re a VA and a WAHM,” she said. (She pronounces WAHM “Wahm!” – very enthusiastically, like a door slamming in your face.)

“Oh, and what did he say?” I cringe. I’m scared to even imagine what her teacher must have thought.

“He said, “That’s interesting,” and asked the next kid what his mom did.”

Really, what else could he have done?

It might make a cute story, but I definitely won’t use Cassidy’s description when people ask me what I do.

Thankfully, WAHM Articles author Cristina Favreau has written a free guidebook, called Designing a Compelling 30-second Intro. Cristina will help you create a 30-second intro that answers the “So what do you do?” question and tells your audience how you can help solve their problems.
